Lunchtime is an important time in the school day when pupils and staff come together in a relaxed and bright environment to enjoy a varied selection of nutritionally balanced meals.
All our lunches are cooked and served by our experienced in-house team from a wide variety of locally sourced ingredients. Every day we offer a choice of meat and vegetarian main dishes with fresh fish being served at least twice a week. To accompany these there is a selection of fresh vegetables, salads, a staple such as rice, pasta or potato and fresh bread. Additionally, jacket potatoes are always available with our daily choice of toppings and occasionally there will be an additional daily dish not included on our published menu. Each meal is rounded off by a choice of desserts, including a portion of fresh fruit. We will always encourage the pupils to try new foods, but ultimately it will be their choice as to what they are served each day.
